This blog was created for my friend Terry Purdom. Terry was diagnosed with an incurable form of bone cancer called Multiple Myeloma in November 2004. Last summer 2010, Terry took a roadtrip to raise money to fund cancer research. My wife and I have both lost loved ones to cancer, and know the horrible effects that this disease has on friends, family, and those struck by the illness. Terry is truly a hero. Best day ever!

Right after leaving Legends Motorcycles today (which was really outstanding), we got a call from Terry himself. Truly an inspiration.... he has a fantastic outlook on life, and hope beyond belief. What an honor to hear straight from him on how he has chosen to view his illness, and strive to make something lasting and so meaningful to others. What motivation! It makes me want to work that much harder to get these quilts made!
