This blog was created for my friend Terry Purdom. Terry was diagnosed with an incurable form of bone cancer called Multiple Myeloma in November 2004. Last summer 2010, Terry took a roadtrip to raise money to fund cancer research. My wife and I have both lost loved ones to cancer, and know the horrible effects that this disease has on friends, family, and those struck by the illness. Terry is truly a hero. Our dream is to help Terry with his cause. Please read more about Terry on his web site

The second donation

I started calling all of the Harley dealerships near Salt Lake City asking for donations. Our second donation came from T at Legends Motorcycles in Springville, Utah. Legends offers a unique source for vintage and custom motorcycles. They also have rare, hard-to-find, and aftermarket Harley Davidson and Indian parts. Their show room is AWESOME! If you're ever in Sprigville you really should stop in! It's a once in a life time experience. T told us of some of the other things they are involved in. They take part in a ride for Juvenile Diabetes, Habitat for Humanity, and seeing eye dogs for the blind. Another hero :) Here is a picture of T giving me the shirts for the quilt, and our little one infront of the shop. She says T is "so totally cool" ! We're on our way!!! Thanks T! We're so excited about this now, and all of the generous people we're meeting along the way! Find them at
