This blog was created for my friend Terry Purdom. Terry was diagnosed with an incurable form of bone cancer called Multiple Myeloma in November 2004. Last summer 2010, Terry took a roadtrip to raise money to fund cancer research. My wife and I have both lost loved ones to cancer, and know the horrible effects that this disease has on friends, family, and those struck by the illness. Terry is truly a hero. Quilts for Terry :)

Our idea was to make a quilt to auction off online to raise money for Terry. Our hunt for Harley Davidson fabric was not good.... none of our local stores carry it anymore. As we have gone on, we have decided to make one for the Harley store that he works at in Bedford, Texas, as well. Hopefully they will be able to raise additional money for Terry. In total we'll make 3.... including one for Terry himself. Track our progress!
